lovefrom "Putting it into words"
Paris-Texas, Paris-France
By Terence Anthony
I've been to Paris Texas,
And I've been to Paris France;
And I've danced along the boulevards,
And had a small romance.
I've sat in little bistros,
And I've eaten baguette and cheese;
I've watched the world go by,
With the greatest of ease.
But of all the Paris memories,
That I carry in my heart;
The Paris of my dreaming,
Is the Paris where we part.
For when I think of Paris,
The one I love the best;
Is the Paris where I hold you close,
And give my heart no rest.
